Why Do I Read?

 



There are many different reasons why I like to read. There are so many books out in the world that there has to be one that I like. I am a big fan of the Hunger Games series, and I find it to be very interesting to me. I like the series because it is not your typical storyline, and it always has you on the edge of your seat, it’s very suspenseful. The books like the Hunger Games I could get lost in forever because of how interesting it is. It is pleasurable to me and it makes me want to read more and more as I turn each page wondering what is going to happen next. I think my favorite kind of genre is mystery or suspense. I love that unexpected moment in that book, I feel like it really makes the book come to life. I think that fiction definitely ties into mystery and suspense. I think fiction is the broad topic and mystery and suspense are the smaller ones and more specific to people. Depending on what storyline you are reading you can really get a good feel of what the author is like without even talking to them. Which I think is another cool part of reading you get to know someone before you have even met them, which is very unusual.
